In a few weeks I will be travelling to Machu Picchu - "The Lost City of the Incas". The city lies at 2,400 metres above sea level, high in the Andes mountains, and is often shrouded in a mist of clouds. It was built in 1460, but abandoned and not discovered again until 1911. This mysterious site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site,
and was recently selected as one of the "New 7 Wonders of the World".
